Most burns received while spinning fire are not from the flame or wick itself, but from hot metal. High heat silicone tape is an excellent way to wrap the metal on your props and prevent nasty burns. Each roll is 1 inch wide and 10 feet long - enough to cover the metal on multiple props. There is no adhesive on this tape - it fuses to itself after approximately 30 seconds of contact. Repeated heat and banging on the ground may cause degradation and/or tears, but a small piece can be applied on top of the damage and it's as good as new. This stuff is amazing!
